Data Analyst

Department: Sales & Administration

Reports To: Sales Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Analyst to support our Sales and Administration teams with timely and accurate data reporting, lead management, and insight generation. This role is crucial to maintaining clean and actionable data, providing essential reports, and enabling data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Reporting:

o Generate and distribute weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc sales performance reports.

o Monitor key sales KPIs and trends to support the Sales team with performance insights.

o Assist in tracking targets, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.

• Marketing & Lead Data Management:

o Support, cleanse and maintain lead and customer data across CRM and marketing databases. (HubSpot).

o Identify and correct inconsistencies, duplicates, and outdated records.

o Support lead segmentation and tracking for marketing campaigns.

• Day-to-Day Information Support:

o Respond to internal data and reporting requests from Sales and Admin teams.

o Assist in compiling operational data for meetings, presentations, and strategic planning.

o Maintain standardized dashboards or templates for regular reporting.

• Collaboration & Process Improvement:

o Liaise with team members to understand data needs and improve reporting efficiency.

o Contribute ideas for automation and better reporting practices.

o Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with internal data policies.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, basic formulas).

• Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot (or similar) for lead and customer data management.

• Broad data management across various departments – Procurement, sales, production, finance systems.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.

• Clear communication skills and a team-focused attitude.

• Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles is a plus.

Employment Type: Full Time 39 hours per week

Holidays – 20 + 8 bank holidays

Salary - £28k-£35k – Salary sacrifice options – cycle to work scheme as an example
