We’re working with one of the most recognisable names in publishing and home to some of the world’s most celebrated authors.

They’re on the lookout for a Commercial Data Analyst to join their Growth & Analytics team in London to play a pivotal role in defining, implementing, and optimising revenue growth strategies in an ultra-competitive, rapidly evolving market.

While this role will be based in London, you will be covering the ANZ territory – a rapidly developing and expanding market.

This is a great opportunity for data professionals who want to:

  • Be at the heart of a data and AI-driven environment, using analysis to drive commercial decisions across digital and print formats.
  • Work on projects that directly shape the positioning, pricing, and performance of some of the world’s best-selling books across platforms like Amazon, Audible, Apple, and beyond.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, marketing teams, and commercial leaders to create scalable, high-impact solutions.
  • Gain exposure to big data, automation, AI tools, SEO, and SEM while being mentored in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • 1 – 2 years’ working within a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Strong Excel skills (INDEX, nested IF statements essential; INDIRECT, macros, or Power BI a plus).
  • Highly analytical mindset with great attention to detail and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in completing and presenting analysis or strategies to stakeholders.
  • Confidence working with large transactional datasets; SQL knowledge is beneficial.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach with excellent stakeholder management skills.

The details:

  • London-based role, hybrid working 3 days per week (Central).
  • Full-time, permanent position with additional perks and benefits.
  • £40k - £45k per annum for the right person.
