Are you an ambitious Data Analyst looking to take the next step in your career?

We have excellent opportunity for someone ideally from a utilities or construction background to join our growing team and contribute to our Affinity Water contract. You will support the production and interpretation of data and information-spotting trends, uncovering discrepancies, and helping shape our commercial strategy

Here are some of the activities you will be involved with

  • Analysis and collation of data from various management information sources
  • Producing reports on a regular basis to inform commercial decision-making and aid continuous improvement, in line with Clancy standards
  • Using data analytics to perform detailed root cause analysis on trends and identify actions required by liaising with various functions across the business and interrogating information available on systems
  • Analysing data to show key themes, trends and highlight risks to the business
  • Sharing best practice and standards with colleagues and stakeholders to identify opportunities and drive consistency
  • Analysing performance metrics and understanding trends, providing feedback to relevant stakeholders, using a data-driven approach

We would love to hear from you if

You are proactive, have a positive, can-do attitude, and a strong analytical mindset. You enjoy problem-solving and can confidently interpret and translate data into clear, meaningful insights that support strategic decisions.

You will have well-developed analytical and research skills, with experience in producing accurate, relevant information and presenting findings in a way that engages stakeholders at all levels. Strong organisational skills are important, as is the ability to work to multiple deadlines.

Advanced Excel skills are essential, and experience of creating dashboards using tools such as Power BI will be a real advantage. A degree or equivalent qualification is preferred, along with commercial awareness and a good understanding of the full project lifecycle and information management systems.

Strong communication skills are key-you'll be able to tailor your approach to suit different audiences and ensure outcomes are understood across the business.
