Finlay Jude Associates are currently recruiting for a Data Administrator in the Kidlington, Oxfordshire area.

This is an opportunity to progress into a Data Analyst position within a Utilities company. You will undergo thorough training and shadowing in order for you to learn about the data analytics and Industry sector.

We are looking for a proactive individual, willing to work on their own initiative & as part of a team to solve and develop solutions for our clients’ clean water network.

Skills & experience requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in an office environment.

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (especially Microsoft Excel).

  • Knowledge of data capture best practices.

  • Knowledge of analytics and interpreting data.

  • Ability to operate geographical information systems.

  • Good IT skills are essential.

  • Good problem-solving ability.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work alone & as part of the team to achieve targets is essential.

    Main duties:

  • To track & capture points of interest (POI) following current methods/processes (including all 3rd party systems employed).

  • Responsibility for accurate collection of data to meet reporting targets.

  • Liaison with senior management teams (both Thames Water and PN Daly).

  • Target setting at both area & individual level to support performance management.

  • To work closely with deployment & maintenance teams to support targets & quality.

  • To support the logging manager in maintenance of logging equipment to deadlines.

  • Housekeeping to strict GDPR rules & guidelines.

  • Effective & continuous improvement by way of new ideas & trialling new methods
