We have a very rareopportunity for a data industry leader to join our Data Science,Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI) Practice witha specific focus on leading and building the business in WesternEurope. You will report to the Global Head of Data Science in theUS and ultimately manage and continue to hire a sizeable team asthe practice continues to grow. The role offers excitingopportunities to play a highly visible role in partnership with theglobal data leadership team to drive growth and our go to marketstrategy. We are opento hiring someone in the UK, Germany, Netherlands or Switzerlandand may consider other locations in Western Europe for the rightperson. #LI-DNI Responsibilities * Lead the Western European DataScience, ML/AI Practice * As a part of Global Data Practice team,work with other practices, as well as European Business leadershipteam, to help expand our footprint across Western Europe * Helpdrive Generative AI, Advanced Analytics, Computer Vision, NLPend-to-end competency development, encompassing capability scaling,opportunity intake, solutioning, staffing, and execution * Focus onpractical AI application frameworks, including Data, MLOps, andLLMOps as well as actively participate in the development ofResponsible AI, ESG, AI Security offerings * Assist in thedevelopment of enterprise transformation offerings, with pragmaticAI adoption as a major driver for productivity enhancement and theestablishment of new revenue streams * Drive vertical (business)and horizontal (enablement) cross-organizational,multi-disciplinary teams to champion an AI-first product vision *Assist in forming a practical vision for AIs impact on productivity(SDLC/Engineering, customer centers, etc.) * Collaborate withclient partners up to C-level to bring AI products and programs tolife whilst maintaining strong long lasting relationships, ensuringtheir satisfaction through effective delivery to maximize growth *Support sales / pre-sales activities by assessing Dataopportunities, responding to RFPs, creating proposals andpresentations * Manage and act as a mentor to a multi-disciplinaryEuropean data team of Lead Data Scientists, Data Architects, DataTech Consultants up to and including Senior Director levelfostering their professional growth and development across ML/AI *Stay updated with the latest advancements in ML/AI and emergingtechnologies, proactively recommending new approaches andmethodologies to address challenges in the space/markets andgeographies in which the clients operate * Attend and speak atrelevant industry events and conferences showcasing EPAMs extensiveand high quality delivery capabilities Requirements * Bachelors,Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science or a related fieldor extensive relevant work experience * Very strong hands-onbackground in data science, understanding of AI/ML technologies andconcepts * Good grasp on AL/ML operationalization, MLOps, DataPlatforms * Industry visionary, avid technologist at heart and asenior proven leader who can drive a Data Science, ML/AI Practicein a large consulting organization * Extensive work history acrossData technology and business with the ability to comfortablyinteract with colleagues and clients at all levels * Proven trackrecord in designing and implementing ML/AI solutions and end-to-endcompetency development * Demonstrated experience in engaging andinfluencing senior stakeholders to secure funding or sell ML/AIprojects * Exceptional ability to drive C-level client engagementsand demonstrate the full extent of EPAMs capabilities and marketoffering * Able to think outside the box, drive end-to-endinitiatives and engagements and understand the complexity ofdriving changes in a global multinational organization * This roleis not exclusively focused on high level strategy/team managementbut a robust tech background with hands-on experience in therelevant areas highlighted is absolutely essential We offer * EPAMEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) * Protection benefits includinglife assurance, income protection and critical illness cover *Private medical insurance and dental care * Employee AssistanceProgram * Competitive group pension plan * Cyclescheme, Techschemeand season ticket loans * Various perks such as gym discounts, freeWednesday lunch in-office, on-site massages and regular socialevents * Learning and development opportunities including in-housetraining and coaching, professional certifications, over 22,000courses on LinkedIn Learning Solutions and much more * If otherwiseeligible, participation in the discretionary annual bonus program *If otherwise eligible and hired into a qualifying level,participation in the discretionary Long-Term Incentive (LTI)Program * *All benefits and perks are subject to certaineligibility requirements J-18808-Ljbffr
