The National Private Assurance - Trusts & Estates team looks after all tax aspects of c750 UK and offshore trust and estate clients.

A look into the role

As an Associate Director within our team, you will:

  1. Have experience managing clients with a key skill of reviewing complex trust tax returns and accounts prepared by the team.
  2. Optimise delivery from the team resource and manage your own time, helping team members to meet deadlines.
  3. Delegate to and develop junior members of the team.
  4. Take responsibility for running the compliance process, improving processes, and implementing Grant Thornton's digital agenda.

Joining us as an Associate Director within the Trusts team, theminimum criteriayou’ll need is experience in managing and advising on Trusts. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way:

  1. Experience managing and advising estates is an advantage but not a necessity. Experience of IHT reporting is also expected.
  2. We have ambitious growth plans, and we are looking for the right individual to grow the advisory part of the business. Advisory experience is an advantage but not a necessity as support will be given.
  3. There will also be the opportunity to get involved in the wider Private tax practice.
