The opportunity.

The Quantexa Academy offers comprehensive education designed to empower Customers and Partners in deploying, customizing, and utilizing the Quantexa Platform. Our goal is to support them in becoming self-sufficient and confident users of our solution. We provide certification programs, end-user training, resources, Community content, as well as instructor-led workshops and bootcamps. 

We are looking for a Technical Instructional Designer with extensive experience in computer science, big data, analytics, and software engineering, along with strong coding and learning design skills. 

What you will be doing.

  • Create training materials for Quantexa’s Customers and Partners, covering the Platform’s deployment, customisation, and use across multiple industries 
  • Carry out in-depth research of existing technical content and documentation, demos, online resources, and customer feedback 
  • Work closely with Product and R&D Teams to understand new Platform’s features and capabilities, as well as technical pipelines and approaches 
  • Maintain product ownership for their programs, ensuring they evolve, remain up-to-date, and align with technological advancements 
  • Conduct discovery sessions with SMEs and coordinate an end-to-end instructional design process (ADDIE, Agile)  
  • Develop detailed storyboards and transform them into user-centric learning experiences 
  • Create custom content for theQuantexa Community siteand engage with the Community members to solve their queries 
  • Deliver ILT training sessions to diverse audiences (travels might be required) 
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, delivering results within tight deadlines 
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to develop effective, evidence-based learning experiences 
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Team’s processes 

Requirements

What you will bring.

  • Proven experience in designing technical training content, preferably in a startup/scaleup environment. Relevant domains: FinTech, analytics, data science & engineering, software development, ML, LLMs, SaaS, etc. 
  • Very strong understanding of computer science 
  • Knowledge of diverse data-related solutions and topics: Spark, Hadoop, Elasticsearch, ETL, ML, LLM, etc. 
  • Programming skills: Scala or Java (preferred), or Python (or any other object-oriented language) 
  • Strong understanding of learning theories and instructional design principles 
  • Experience in using GenAI for content creation and individual productivity enhancement 
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly and concisely 
  • Strong SME management skills 
  • Instructor-Led Training delivery skills: impactful presentation, managing students’ engagement and attention, and active listening 

Nice to have.

  • Industry experience in a non-training role (software development, FinTech, or similar) 
  • Strong editorial / copywriting skills
