Technical Business/Data Analyst – Cloud Security Focus

We are seeking a Technical Business or Data Analyst with a strong background in cloud security to join our AWS Platform team. This role is critical in helping us make sense of the vast amount of data generated from our vulnerability management efforts, particularly those driven by AWS Inspector and related tooling.


Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and consolidate vulnerability reports and security data into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with AWS platform leads to improve observability and reporting around cloud security posture.
  • Develop dashboards, summaries, and visualizations that clearly communicate risk and remediation priorities.
  • Support “manage the platform” initiatives by providing analytical clarity and structured reporting.
  • Act as a bridge between technical security outputs and business understanding.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in a cloud security or technical infrastructure environment.
  • Ability to work with technical teams and translate complex data into business‑relevant insights.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Desirable

  • Experience in vulnerability management or security operations.
  • Background in cloud infrastructure or DevSecOps environments.
  • Based in or near Edinburgh for occasional in‑person collaboration.
