Our client a respected global brand has an excellent opportunity for a Technical Business Analyst to join their BI team and support the data driven agenda of the organisation.


You will join a team who are seeking to build a new world-class BI platform, with end to end capability and will help drive the growth of the organisation.

The role:



As a Technical Business Analyst you will translate business reporting requirements into workable technical requirements.
Articulating data or process gaps to the requestor and technical gaps and requirements to the development team.
You may currently be in a Development role looking to diversify, a Business Analyst looking to become more technically focused or a Data Analyst, MI Analyst looking to expand your BI knowledge.

Experience required:



Strong knowledge of T-SQL
Basic BI concepts experience
Hands-on experience in Microsoft BI stack and Data Modelling
Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to a diverse audience
Self-starter who is comfortable working within a team and on an individual basis when required under minimal supervision
Capable of working to tight deadlines

Desirable:



PL/SQL experience
Experience in Enterprise Power BI implementation

This will be an excellent career opportunity for someone with a hunger and thirst for knowledge, who is looking to further and develop their depth of BI expertise. The role will be demanding and challenging and will offer longer-term exposure to Big Data and Data Analytics.


This role will offer a market-competitive salary.
