You will undertake the following activities:Analysis oftechnical requirements and issues.Own the design of complexsolutions which maximise automation and re-use of existingcomponents.Create technical specifications anddocumentation.Contribute to task planning, estimation andscheduling.Work with technical customer teams to deliver andimplement an overall solution.Provide technical guidance todevelopers and data engineers (customer and internal).Assist in theresolution of operational issues.PROFILERequired Skills:In depthknowledge and experience of designing, developing and integratingsecure solutions in public cloud environments (e.g., AWS orMicrosoft Azure).Experience managing and deriving requirements andestablishing and maintaining traceability between them and solutioncomponents.Solid writing skills to include creating High-Level andLow-Level Designs and interface control documents.Experience ofstandard engineering and service managementmethodologies.Experience of database technology such as MySQL,Oracle or Amazon Redshift.Experience of one of the following: PowerBI, Pentaho Business Analytics, ElasticSearch, Solr, ApacheKafka.Desired Skills:Experience of Python and its numerical, dataand machine learning libraries.Exposure to ETL tooling.Exposure todata science and analytical tooling such as SAS or Posit.Design anddevelopment of solutions in performance critical environments.Whatwe do for you:At Leidos we are PASSIONATE about customer success,UNITED as a team and INSPIRED to make a difference.
