We are looking for a passionate and drivenSustainability Data Analystto join our team.

This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact on people’s lives and homes by supporting our mission to invest in people and places, building a stronger and more sustainable future.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in helping us achieve our environmental goals by:

  • Developing and producing visual presentations for reports and internal communications, effectively translating complex data and insights into clear, engaging formats for non-technical audiences.
  • Collecting, validating, inputting, manipulating, extracting, and analysing property, energy, and sustainability data to evaluate the performance of our homes, buildings, and operations.
  • Designing and developing KPI dashboards and reporting tools to track sustainability and energy performance across the organisation.
  • Providing technical expertise and support to the Sustainability Team in the area of property, energy, and environmental data analytics.

Working at Platform gives you the chance to contribute to impactful work, backed by nearly £8 million in funding from the Warm Homes Social Housing Fund. As part of a key strategic partnership, we’re improving energy efficiency in hundreds of homes across the Midlands. This role puts you at the centre of our Net Zero journey, reducing carbon emissions, lowering energy bills, and tackling fuel poverty.

If you’re passionate about sustainability, skilled in data analysis, and able to communicate insights clearly to a range of audiences, this could be the role for you!

Some things we need from you:

  • Demonstrable experience in data analytics.
  • Experience of Interpreting information, requirements gathering, carrying out research, analysing complex data, making sound judgements in a complex organisation.
  • Experience with dealing with Domestic Energy Data and RdSAP.
  • Experience in working with energy performance software tools.
  • Experience in the development, monitoring, management, analytics and quality assurance of data.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and strong IT skills, particularly in MS Excel.

While this position is home- based, occasional travel will be required to our offices in Worcester and Solihull for team meetings.
