SEI is seeking to hire an Asset Static Data Analyst to maintain and grow a healthy relationship between SEI and its platform providers that enable the client to achieve their business goals for the services provided by SEI.

What you will do:

  1. Have regular meetings with our platform providers to discuss any concerns, issues or improvements that could be made.
  2. Support the process for negotiation of new fund agreements and amendments and liaise with Legal in accordance with SEI’s Policy.
  3. Liaise with fund custodians and data vendors to provide regular information for SEI’s internal stakeholders and Firms.
  4. Work with the Static Data Offshore team to support asset set up, price amendments, and act as a knowledge support for queries.
  5. Work on enhancements to the offshore processes.
  6. Respond to client and internal queries in a timely and effective manner.
  7. Log and process instructions from clients and internal stakeholders with regards to setting up traditional assets and mutual funds, using information from SEI’s data vendors and fund custodians.
  8. Obtain Prospectus where required to verify data received.
  9. Accurate and timely set up of manual dealing calendars on a weekly basis.
  10. Assist with maintaining asset dividend policy change instructions and reviews, including custody transfers.
  11. Setting up and resolving any Agency Codes issues with our platform providers.
  12. Accurate and timely linking of assets to the respective custody account on the SEI Platform.
  13. Monitor and control notifications received in respect of any significant fund changes including Corporate Actions, hard/soft closures, mergers and any AMC or special terms changes.
  14. Assist line manager with key KPI, KRI metrics for the team.
  15. Liaise directly with our Firms on any aspect of the asset setup.
  16. Support the asset conversion process, working with internal stakeholders, client firms and custodians to ensure smooth execution on both on the platform and on the street.
  17. Review, investigate and resolve exceptions arising from conversion activity and/or reconciliation work.
  18. Work closely with Platform Delivery and Application Support to resolve any data integrity issues.
  19. Participate in ad hoc projects as required.
  20. Monitor automated Tax Wrapper Account feeds to our Onshore and Offshore Bond providers and escalate issues to our tech team in a timely and professional manner.
  21. Maintain and review all asset static data on the platform received from data vendors.
  22. All SIEL employees are responsible for the identification, assessment and control of risks and risk events. Employees will maintain a good understanding of applicable policies, procedures, risk appetites and tolerance relevant to their function and or business unit, and are expected to consider current and potential risks when making or informing business decisions. Employees are responsible for the accurate and timely escalation and recording of incidents associated to relevant risks. In addition, employees are responsible for completing all required Risk Management training.

  4. Good understanding of Microsoft suites.
  5. Possesses an understanding of the mutual fund and securities business.
  6. Have a practical understanding of corporate actions on assets.
  7. Ability to create procedures on new processes.
  8. Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  9. Good analytical skills – can identify trends, issues and provide recommendations that address root causes.
  10. Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
  11. Ability to work in a busy and changing environment.
  12. Strong dedication to quality customer service.
