We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to help our client build cutting-edge models in the sports betting industry. This role sits at the crossroads of machine learning, software engineering, data science, and mathematics—perfect for someone who thrives on innovation and complex challenges.

The role is based in Costa Rica.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop, structure, and maintain robust datasets tailored for machine learning workflows.
  • Create and deploy high-performance algorithms and predictive models to support our sports modeling initiatives.
  • Collaborate with a team of data scientists, developers, and domain experts to solve real-world problems and optimize outcomes.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience working with machine learning techniques, particularly neural networks.
  • Strong background inPython programming (Matlab is a plus).
  • Solid understanding of data preparation, including feature engineering and transformation.
  • Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • A passion for building smart, scalable tools that make an impact.
  • Experience in the iGaming industry (B2B / B2C) - particulary in sports modeling.
