Supporting the Thales UK Digital and Datastrategy, the Customer Data Solutions Architect will test concepts,architect data solutions, create implementation plans, and helpdeliver continuous evolution of our capabilities. The role willinteract with other data architects and engineers across thebusiness working in Data and Digital: championing data techniquesfor new or enhanced market offers; understanding the criticalcustomer drivers; delivering Proofs of Concept and acting as ago-to individual that can connect internal/external stakeholderswith the proposed solutions. Youll be a key part of the Thales UKData and Digital Competence Centre team to ensure that thetechnology strategy, human capabilities, and opportunity pipelineare enabling the business strategy and growth, connecting withstakeholders across engineering, Thales UK, and Group DigitalCompetence Centres. We are looking for: * Logical analysisof technical solutions and problem-solving * Architecture design(Solution Modelling, Systems Integration, IT standards, SystemBehaviours, etc.) * Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS,infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS),SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, predictiveanalytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence *Familiarity with information management practices, systemdevelopment life cycle management, IT services management,infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks *Technical IT (security, transaction processing, user interface,data management, Operating Systems Services) * Ability to designinnovative solutions whilst adhering to strong securityconstraints. * Experience of the latest technology trends and theirapplication within Data - including but not limited to AI, machinelearning, containerization, IoT, big data, and cloud. * Ability toengage and influence a diverse set of stakeholders (ProductEngineering Leaders, Customer, Design Authorities, ProjectManagement, IS/IT) * Excellent communication skills andinterpersonal skills – encourages an open environment whereinformation and ideas are shared and innovative thinking isstimulated. * Detailed technical expertise is not always essential,but the ability to understand and support technical discussions toconclusion with confidence is essential.
