You'll solve complex technical challenges that impact millions of users, from developing mobile features used by millions of our associates to enhancing enterprise search and news feed capabilities for corporate employees. Your work will directly influence how Amazonians interact with essential workplace tools and information.
About the team
Within Amazonian Experience and Technology (AET), the A to Z Experiences team builds and maintains Amazon's primary employee platform across mobile and web. We own critical touchpoints including homepages, search functionality, and global navigation, serving a diverse workforce of 1.2M associates and 400K corporate employees. Our platform processes 3.9B annual interactions, making us essential to Amazonians' daily work lives - from managing schedules and pay to accessing benefits and career resources.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with FrontEnd React and/or Nextjs.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and LLM agents.
