We're now seeking a dynamic Site Operations Manager to lead our talented team at the Marshalls Landscape Products site in Ramsbottom.

What are the mission-critical skills?

  • Proven Manufacturing Leadership:Minimum 2+ years leading teams in a medium/large, automated manufacturing setting, with a strong grasp of safety, quality, and housekeeping standards (Diverse manufacturing backgrounds welcome)
  • Change Management in Unionised Environments:Demonstrated success in leading and implementing change effectively within a unionised environment
  • Financial & Project Management:Experience managing budgets, capital programmes, and executing projects successfully
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:Ability to utilise data and analytical skills to drive informed decisions and improvements
  • Effective Communication & Collaboration:Ability to communicate, collaborate, and resolve issues constructively across all levels
  • Customer-Centric & Trustworthy:Strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain confidence
  • Organised, Proactive & Values-Driven:Excellent organisational skills, a proactive approach to improvement, and demonstrated leadership aligned with company values and culture
  • Continuous Improvement Expertise:Experience with lean manufacturing techniques (e.g., DMAIC) is a significant bonus
  • Performance Optimisation:Knowledge of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) is highly advantageous
  • Safety & Compliance Proficiency:IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate is desirable
