Simulation & Modelling Engineer



  • 12 month min contract
  • Luton - 80-100% on-site working
  • £75ph - £85ph Umbrella / £55ph - £65ph PAYE (Inside IR35)

We have an opportunity for aSimulation & Modelling Engineerto join our team within the Combat Air line of business for a twelve-month Contract,


This role will focus on supporting the development of performance models for products such as Tempest and Typhoon. Due to the nature of the work, this role requires 80-100% on-site working in Luton.


A role within the team will provide exposure to EW products and subject-matter experts with expertise within domain, product, and technology fields.



What you will do - Simulation & Modelling Engineer



  • Creation of performance models in tools such as Matlab and Simulink
  • Developing and maintaining SysML profiles, libraries and model templates in Cameo System Modeller
  • Technical Discussions with suppliers and customers
  • Review of System Models
  • Document management to support design review activities



What we’re looking for - Simulation & Modelling Engineer



  • In-depth knowledge of Electronic Hardware Verification and Validation methodologies
  • Proven knowledge in Simulation and Modelling using Matlab and SysML
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to steer technical interchange discussions
  • Product Data Management using Teamcenter/SharePoint/Confluence.
  • Self-motivated with an aptitude for problem solving and driving challenging issues to a conclusion alongside excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
