Senior Stress Engineer - £40,000 to £60,000 + benefitsLocation: KidderminsterI am hiring for an experienced Stress Engineer who will be a crucial part in the development of all the phases in the project lifecycle. You would be focusing on Linear/Non Linear static analysis and will be conducting Finite Element Analysis utilising Abaqus.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on rocket motor hardware and propellant charges.- Use software tools including Abaqus, Altair-Hyperworks, Fortran, and Matlab.- Develop and assess structural test plans.- Act as the structural technical authority for multiple projects.- Support customer meetings, design reviews, and certification processes.Requirements:- Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Structural Engineering, or a related field.- Proficiency in Abaqus FEA Software and Microsoft Office.- Strong knowledge of material science (composites, viscoelastic materials, adhesives).- Experience with CAD modelling and Altair-Hyperworks (advantageous).Attributes:- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.- Self-motivated with a commitment to deadlines.This company is prised for Career development and is rapidly expanding.
