Senior Software Engineer AI

Up to £60k + 10% Annual Bonus

Basingstoke, Hampshire Hybrid (2 days in p/w)

middle has partnered exclusively with a key client to build an internal team of Developers. This team will support the continuous development of a brand-new division who are building an internal AI Chatbot. They consist of a team of Web Developers within an Enterprise business who have designed, built, and implemented an internal AI chatbot to help secure, automate and expedite business processes.


If you are a strong React Developer with a keen interest or proven commercial knowledge of AI, Chatbots or GPT, this is likely the perfect role, project, people and business for you.


Role:

In this role, theLead Software Engineer will be the most senior technical resource in the division. You will work extremely closely with the Enterprise Architect and internal stakeholders to continue to implement AI tools that reduce routine tasks, save time whilst protecting the organisations data and security.


As a Senior Software Engineer youwontbe line managing but coaching/mentoring the junior developers. You have exposure to full project management with internal stakeholders across the business. This will be from inception, documentation, solution design right through to post-implementation bugs.

Lead Software Engineer musthave commercial experience using AI up to £80k + Bonus

Senior Engineer -musthave commercial experience using AI up to £60k + Bonus

Senior Engineer proveninterest in AI (home lab setup, private repos/projects you can share) up to £50k + Bonus

The idealSenior Engineerwill have:

  • 4+ yearsexperience as a Web Development
  • Musthave commercial experience using AI.
  • Experience as a full stack developer within theJavaScriptframework -TypeScript,React(Next.js) andNode.js.
  • Ideally with knowledge ofTerraform, Ansible, and Packer.
  • Knowledge of know-how usingAI/MLin a person project or workplace LLM,TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
  • Previous experience managingend to end project management solution design with Architects to implementation.
  • Previous experience within anAgileenvironment (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Experience in spotting and fixing flaws internally.
  • Greatcommunicationskills; gathering requirements, presenting and running Scrum sprints.
