Who we are, what we do & why we do it:

We are Dext – the world’s leading accounting and bookkeeping automation software provider. Our products empower businesses with real-time visibility and control over spend, payments, and expenses, helping accountants and bookkeepers work more efficiently with complex financial data workflows. Trusted by over 1 million SMBs globally, our solutions utilize AI and machine learning to transform the accounting process, making it effortless and accurate.

Operating across Europe, North America, and APAC with an expanding SaaS portfolio, we are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of our Self-Employed and Non-Integrated Proposition. This is a unique opportunity to shape product strategy for self-employed clients globally, and streamline processes for unintegrated clients, optimizing their workflows and ensuring their needs are met.

The role - what you’ll do:

As Senior Product Manager for Self-Employed and Non-Integrated Proposition, you will:

  • Spearhead the launch of Dext’s MTD ITSA proposition in the UK, leading efforts to ensure its success in this crucial market.
  • Expand the scope globally, identifying opportunities to serve the self-employed market across different regions.
  • Own and develop the product strategy for clients who are not integrated, streamlining processes to improve their workflows and ensuring an optimal user experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Revenue Ops, Engineering, and General Managers, to drive forward strategic initiatives and new opportunities.
  • Create a clear roadmap for the product, communicating across all levels of the business and ensuring alignment with Dext’s broader strategic goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across Design, Engineering, Research, and Analytics to manage risks and maximize value creation.

Bonus: Knowledge of self-employed tax reporting is highly desirable and will be an advantage in this role.

Requirements

About you - what we are looking for:

We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running with most of the following competencies. At Dext, we value potential as much as experience, and we’re committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive work environment.

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in a B2B SaaS company or within the accounting software industry.
  • A proven track record of launching products or features in regulated markets, with experience in MTD ITSA or related tax products being highly desirable.
  • Expertise in handling non-integrated client workflows, with the ability to streamline and optimize processes.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, combining insights from stakeholders and data-driven decision-making to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with experience engaging at C-level and with senior stakeholders.
  • Agile methodology proficiency and a data-driven approach to discovery and development.

Benefits

What you’ll be part of - our values, culture, and behaviors:

We are a fast-paced, ambitious FinTech organization backed by Private Equity (HgCapital). Despite our scale, we maintain the agility of a start-up. Our values guide everything we do:

  • Be Brave – Everyone has a voice and the opportunity to challenge the status quo.
  • Be Exceptional – We strive for excellence in everything we do.
  • Be Together – We succeed as a team, and individual success is inseparable from team success.

Our behaviors support these values: Be Diverse, be Courageous, be Considerate, be Transparent, be Focused, be Accountable, and above all, be Dexterous!

What we will give you - the perks:

  • Competitive salary;
  • Flexible working arrangements;
  • 25 days off plus bank holidays, volunteering days, summer hours, and a day off the week of your birthday;
  • Employer-paid private medical insurance and health cash plan (Medicash);
