TheData, Martech & Experimentationteam is at the heart of Viator’s ability to scale, drive customer satisfaction, and optimize operations throughdata-driven, AI-powered, and highly efficient platforms. We are looking for an experienced Senior Director of Product to lead our internal platforms acrossData, Machine Learning, Experimentation, Martech, and Customer Service.

This role has the option to work from one of our European offices (Oxford, London, Lisbon, or Krakow) or to be fully remote with regular travel to offices for collaboration.

What You Will Do

  • Lead key initiatives across Viator’s internal platforms includingData, Machine Learning, Experimentation, Martech, and Customer Service.
  • Manage a team ofProduct Managersacross multiple platform domains, ensuring alignment and collaboration across Product, Engineering, ML/AI, and Analytics.
  • Drive astrategic visionfor internal platforms, balancing long-term investments with immediate business needs.
  • Buildscalable, flexible, and high-impactcapabilities that drivebusiness growth and efficiency.
  • Definesuccess metrics, KPIs, and data-driven insightsto optimize performance and decision-making.
  • Own and communicate aplatform roadmap, managing competing priorities across different business objectives.
  • Develop strong partnerships with stakeholders, includingEngineering, Analytics, Data Science, Marketing, and Customer Service teams, to align on goals and execution.
  • Influencegroup-wide strategies, collaborating with theTripadvisorteam to ensure Viator leverages shared and distinct internal capabilities.
  • Advocate for theimportance of internal platforms, ensuring company-wide alignment on priorities and value.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends inAI, ML, data, martech, and automationto continuously improve internal capabilities.

What We’re Looking ForRequired

  • 12+ yearsof product management experience, including5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Proven experience leadingcross-functional teamsbuilding Data, ML, or Martech products.
  • Strongtechnical understanding of data platforms and AI-driven products.
  • Experience buildingplatform productsthat serve internal teams across an organization.
  • Deep appreciation fortechnical requirementsfor platforms such as performance, availability, resilience, and security.
  • Deepstakeholder management skills, with the ability toeducate, influence, and collaborateacross functions.
  • Hands-on experience with data tools and insights, able to extract and interpret data to drive decisions.
  • Experience with build versus buy decisions and experience with selecting and integrating third-party technologies.
  • Passion for technology; early adopter of new products.
  • Ability toscale teams and processesin a fast-moving, tech-driven environment.
  • Bias for action, able to execute and iterate quickly.
  • Experience in amatrixed, scaling organizationthat required balancing innovation and operational maturity.

Preferred

  • Master’s degreein a technology or business-related field or relevant experience.
  • Experience inCustomer Data, Customer Service tooling, or Business Process Automation.
  • Prior experience inmarketplaces, or AI-driven platforms or e-commerce.
  • Hands-on product management experience inMartech, Experimentation, or ML Ops.
  • Good understanding ofData Governance.
