Migrations to AWSinclude moving any workload – application, website, database,storage, physical or virtual server, or an entire data center -from an on-premises environment, hosting facility, or other publiccloud to AWS. Have you led large, complexapplication and modernization programs? Key job responsibilities As a Senior Consultant, you willlead complex projects with autonomy and discretion, often involvingmultiple Amazon, customer and partner teams. 1. You will work withcustomers and partners, leading them through planning,prioritization and delivery of complex transformation and migrationinitiatives, while collaborating with relevant Sales, Service, andSupport Teams. 2. You will design and deliver solutions that solvefor new levels of complexity, scale and performance, and in turn,enable breakthrough innovations. 3. You will create and applyframeworks, methods, best practices and artifacts that deliverprescriptive guidance to customers, and publish and present them inlarge forums and across various media platforms. 4. You will guidecustomers’ technical architecture and investments, maximizingalignment with the platform, and ease of adoption as new servicesand products become available. 5. You will help customers definetarget business outcomes and related work streams, and lead thesubsequent projects and initiatives to consistently exceed thesegoals. 6. Creating, articulating, andpositioning an innovative and compelling vision and valueproposition for customers to migrate and modernize to the AWScloud. 3. Working on projects with autonomy and discretion. 4.Collaborating across customers and partner teams to drive and shapesolutions that accelerate customer’s business outcomes. 5. Workingwith large scale networks, compute, and storage architectures tohelp remove roadblocks in customer projects. 6. Advising customerson how to implement solutions. 7. Assisting customers with buildingProof of Concepts and implementing AWS services. 8. Collaboratingwith Sales and AWS Service Teams. 9. Researching, validating, andbeta testing new AWS Services. 10. Presenting workshops one to one,or one to many. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 1. Bachelors degree, orexperience in a professional field or military. 2. Experience astechnical specialist in design and architecture. 3. Experience indatabase (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis). 4.Experience in cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system,network and operating system. 5. A UK national and able to obtainUK Government Security Clearance. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1.Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on-premisetechnologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP). 2.
