Senior ML Engineer - London | Hybrid - £90,000 - £105,000

My client is an innovative AI company making waves in the advertising industry. They’re looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with hands-on experience in Large Language Models (LLMs) and the surrounding ecosystem—think Hugging Face, DevOps, and MLOps best practices. This firm is all about pushing boundaries with data-driven solutions that reshape ad performance, and you’d be joining a small, agile team of six engineers.

The ideal person for this role would have at least two years of experience working with LLMs in production, and be well-versed in building and deploying machine learning solutions that stand up to the demands of real-world applications. You’ll need a strong background in Python, NLP, and AWS, along with a practical understanding of MLOps principles. My client is particularly keen to find someone with leadership experience who’s excited to mentor and help shape the direction of a small team.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement scalable LLM solutions to enhance ad performance, using tools like Hugging Face and other industry-standard frameworks.
• Design robust MLOps pipelines on AWS to streamline deployment, integration, and monitoring of models in a high-impact environment.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive NLP-based features, with a focus on applications like sentiment analysis and language processing.
• Stay at the forefront of LLM advancements and bring that knowledge to guide experimentation and innovation.
• Mentor team members, sharing best practices and helping to establish technical direction for future growth.

What My Client’s Looking For:

• Significant experience in machine learning, with at least two years focused on LLMs in a production setting.
• Strong grasp of Python, NLP, AWS, and related tools, especially around MLOps best practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools applied to ML, including CI/CD and containerisation.
• An interest in leading and guiding a team—previous management experience is a definite plus.
