Primarily Remote (UK Based) *

The Senior ML Engineer is expected to demonstrate strong technical expertise in software engineering and experience in delivering data science and machine learning solutions. This role contributes to the design, development, and deployment of ML models and DS experimentation pipelines that align with strategic goals. By maintaining high standards in the quality and maintainability of the code and system design, the Senior ML Engineer ensures that the solutions developed meet current needs and are scalable and robust.

Key Responsibilities :

● Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of ML models and pipelines, working closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Data Engineers

● Implement processes to operationalize and deliver automated, fault-tolerant, and scalable ML microservices in our production environment

● Maintain and enhance existing ML models, ensuring models deployed in production are monitored and alerted on, and assist in remediation of performance drifts

● Collaborate with ML engineers and Data Scientists, participating in knowledge-sharing and pair programming sessions

● Work with the Engineering Leads community to implement ML tech stack standards, follow best practices, and develop foundational software components/frameworks for use across multiple product domains

Essential Skills

● ML Ops: Experience contributing to machine learning projects execution and solution deployment; Familiarity with common ML modeling techniques

● Software Engineering: Competency in Python and one compiled OOP language (Java is a plus); Writing testable, clean, and secure code

● Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
