As an experienced Control System Engineer (m/f/d), you will play a key role development of the LMH control systems. You will maximize the operations efficiency amongst both cars and coordinate vehicle dynamics control system software development for LMH, ensuring knowledge transfer to other projects.

Your Tasks:


  • steer the technical development direction for the LMH control systems and maximize the operations efficiency amongst both cars
  • coordinate vehicle dynamics control system software development for LMH, ensuring knowledge transfer to other projects
  • represent TGR-E in the communication and actively coordinate communication with FIA and TMC on control systems topics
  • perform investigative studies which steer our vehicle design/development direction, maintaining always a clear focus on enhancement of vehicle performance
  • regularly communicate findings and recommendations of simulation and analytical studies with clearly written documentation including assumptions, methodologies and results

 


The successful candidate will:


  • have a Masters degree in a relevant engineering discipline or similar
  • have multiple years trackside motorsport experience of Control System tuning and parameter optimisation from a high level motorsport category like WEC, Formula-E, F1, etc.
  • show excellent vehicle-dynamic understanding, applied to racing (limit-cornering) conditions
  • show excellent understanding in control theory and signal processing
  • show strong communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • be highly proficient using Matlab, Simulink, vTAG and similar development tools
  • have experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning
