Job Summary

Maintains and has responsibility for the quality and integrity of the HR IT infrastructure landscape including but not limited to the HR and Payroll system /Flex benefits/SAP Concur.


Provides analysis, insights and recommendations through compilation of reports, dashboards trend analysis and relevant data related to key business performance areas. This may include data relating to compensation, employee performance, workforce development and demographic statistics including diversity.


Ensures the best use of the integrated HR related systems; continuously developing and upgrading the HR system processes and data flow to ensure maximum business efficiencies.


The data and reports provided will be critical in supporting business units in delivering their people strategy and making informed decisions relating to future plans.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Partnering with the HR Leadership Team to understand requirements and proactively recommend solutions.
  • Build data analysis outcomes that answer business questions by using people and business data.
  • Use business intelligence tools available and build datasets, reports, and dashboards.
  • Support the HR Leadership Team towards making data driven decisions by providing understanding and insights into data meaning and trends.
  • Perform data manipulation, modelling, and visualisation.
  • Implement and manage systems that help our users better support their business areas.
  • Seek to develop technical solutions which deliver business value.
  • Working closely with finance, payroll, human resources, and IT to ensure the integrity of human resources systems and data. This includes system upgrades, organizational design changes and analysing potential security issues.
  • Select and deploy new technologies and systems that help our people do their best work, leading the testing and development of any new solutions.
  • Support the annual salary and bonus process through the development of the allocation system, testing data in all HRIS systems, user support once live and subsequent detailed analysis.
  • To maintain suitable documentation of reporting systems and user guides for all HR systems.
  • Provide administration for the data aspects of any HR/Payroll Projects.

Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements

  • Experience in a similar HR data analytics / HR MI reporting role.
  • Very strong excel skills, PowerBI and Power Query.
  • An excellent understanding of HR functions within a mid - large organisation.
  • Experience developing HR MI reports and dashboards using varied data sets.
  • Ability to provide insights into data and reports and bring the information to life.
  • Experience of presenting data and reports to stakeholders would be advantageous.
  • Experience in Success Factors.
