Position Highlights:

  • Location:Southern New Hampshire
  • Work Environment:Onsite, Monday through Friday
  • Eligibility:Must be a U.S. or Green Card holder (no sponsorship available)

What You’ll Do:

  • Circuit Design:Create and develop analog and digital circuit boards, manage PCB layouts, and ensure design-for-manufacturing (DFx) principles are met.
  • Testing & Analysis:Perform rigorous testing, debugging, and failure analysis, while designing test fixtures for development and production needs.
  • Documentation:Develop clear, detailed documentation, including block diagrams, electrical requirements, design descriptions, test plans, and failure reports.
  • Prototyping:Build and test new prototypes with a hands-on, inventive approach.
  • System Integration:Translate system-level requirements into detailed electrical designs, ensuring robust architectures.
  • Expertise Utilization:Apply knowledge of signal integrity, ESD/EMC compliance, and power consumption for superior product performance.
  • Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams—mechanical, software, systems, controls, and test engineers—to achieve seamless integration.
  • Supplier & Partner Management:Oversee external design partners and suppliers to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
  • Project Management:Balance multiple priorities effectively to keep projects on track.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of experience designing complex electro-mechanical devices.
  • Technical Skills:Proven expertise in schematic design, PCB layout (Altium), and hands-on debugging with tools like oscilloscopes, DMMs, and logic analyzers.
  • Standards Knowledge:Familiarity with electrical safety standards (IEC 60601-1, ISO 13485) and expertise in signal processing and sensor development.
  • Software Skills:Knowledge of embedded software development in C/C++ and automation tools (MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW).
  • Bonus Expertise:Experience with RF design and test practices is highly desirable.
  • Problem-Solving Ability:Strong skills in multidisciplinary system integration and troubleshooting.
  • Communication:Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented approach.
