Innovative electrolysis and fuel cell company lookingfor a senior electrical design engineer to contribute to theelectrical and power electronic design of their products.Responsibilities: - Contribute to the development of fuel cell andelectrolyser stack designs. - Design electrical networks forgrid-connected systems (both AC and DC). - Produce electricalarchitecture drawings, high-level wiring schematics, and supportingdocumentation. - Manage electrical design materials anddocumentations to communicate with internal and externalstakeholders. - Manage, review, and approve the design and deliveryof work by electrical contractors/installers. - Provide technicaladvice and ensure electrical designs meet national andinternational standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC, NFPA). - Mitigate projectrisks and ensure appropriate risk assessments are conducted. -Support electrical aspects of system installation, troubleshooting,and commissioning. Skills required: - Qualified in ElectricalEngineering or a related field. - Practical and theoreticalknowledge of electrical systems, including MW-scale powergeneration and AC/DC distribution. - Experience with gridconnections and knowledge of relevant regulations and standards. -Hands-on experience with system design, including cable sizing,protection device selection, and interfacing with control systems(e.g., PLCs, microcontrollers). - Proficient in power systemmodeling tools such as ETAP, EPLAN, MATLAB, and others. - Strongorganizational, time management, communication, and report-writingskills. - A positive, problem-solving mindset, especially inR&D and prototype development environments.
