As a Data Scientist at British Airways, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, using cutting-edge data science and machine learning techniques to drive product development and enhance decision-making processes across the business. You will play a key role in developing and deploying advanced analytics solutions that optimise operations and fuel business growth.Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver insights, analysis, and models using data science and machine learning techniques to solve critical business issues.Translate business requirements into scalable machine learning models and data products, driving efficiency and effectiveness.Deploy predictive and prescriptive algorithms at scale, integrating machine learning techniques into digital products to enhance user experience and operational decision-making.Create metrics, reports, and dashboards using both historical and real-time data to support business decisions and drive product innovation.Lead product development initiatives and deliver actionable insights that foster business growth.Collaborate with stakeholders to convert business needs into scalable machine learning solutions.Communicate complex insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, highlighting the impact of data science and machine learning on business outcomes.Build strong relationships with stakeholders to implement data-driven solutions that deliver value across the business.What You’ll Bring:

Advanced analytical skills with expertise in data science, machine learning, and product development.Strong communication skills to present complex technical concepts as actionable business insights.Proficiency in Python and other relevant programming languages, with experience deploying machine learning models in production.A numerate degree focused on data science, machine learning, or a related field, with a track record of product development.2-4 years of experience applying data science and machine learning techniques at scale, with a focus on driving product innovation.Why Join Us?
