The Role

  1. Data Cleaning and Preparation:Collect, clean, and prepare large media datasets from various sources for analysis.
  2. Statistical Analysis:Use econometric techniques like regression, time series, and panel data analysis to identify relationships between media spend and outcomes.
  3. Model Validation and Interpretation:Evaluate model accuracy, interpret results, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
  4. Advanced Analytics:Explore machine learning techniques to improve models and uncover deeper insights.

Experience and Skills

  1. Data Science:Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, including data manipulation, statistical modeling, and visualization.
  2. Statistical Methods:Expertise in regression, generalized linear models, panel data, and time series forecasting.
  3. Media Industry Knowledge:Understanding of media landscape, ad formats, audience measurement, and KPIs.
  4. Communication Skills:Ability to translate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Business Acumen:Ability to align data insights with business objectives.
  6. Additional Skills:Build and maintain MMM models to assess media impact, considering seasonality and competition.
