Senior Data Scientist – AI/LLM Trading Platform


Overview


We are looking for an experiencedSenior Data Scientistto design and implement a high-performance data pipeline for an AI/LLM-powered trading platform. This role involves handling large-scale, unstructured financial data—such as articles, books, and research papers—by collecting, extracting, cleaning, and structuring it for machine learning and trading strategies.


What You’ll Do


  • Develop Scalable Data Pipelines– Design and maintain an efficient pipeline to process unstructured data for AI/LLM models.
  • Process Unstructured Text Data– Extract and prepare data from diverse sources, including financial literature and research.
  • ETL & Data Engineering– Build ETL workflows that unify data from multiple sources into a structured format.
  • Ensure Data Quality– Implement validation techniques and anomaly detection for data integrity.
  • Collaborate Across Teams– Work closely with quant researchers, AI/ML engineers, and trading professionals.
  • Automate & Optimize– Streamline data ingestion, transformation, and storage for efficiency and scalability.


What We’re Looking For


  • Education & Experience– Strong academic background in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills– Proficiency in Python, SQL, ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn), and at least one OOP language (Rust, C++, C#).
  • AI & NLP Expertise– Hands-on experience with LLMs, NLP, and AI-driven data processing.
  • Financial Data Experience– Understanding of market data structures and working with financial datasets is a plus.
  • Cloud & API Knowledge– Familiarity with APIs, cloud computing (AWS, GCP, Azure), and database management.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset– Ability to tackle complex data challenges in a trading environment.

  • Background in quantitative finance or trading research.
  • Experience with real-time data streaming architectures.
  • Exposure to cryptocurrency markets.
