You will be working in a start-up environment within a large corporate organization where you will be trusted to make important decisions, and your impact seen worldwide.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Analyze surgical datasets using statistical methods to derive insightsWork extensively with databases to ensure data integrity and accessibilityCreate and maintain Tableau dashboards for efficient data visualizationInvestigate new methodologies for effective data reportingProactively identify opportunities to improve processes and streamline workflowsRequired Knowledge and Experience:MSc or PhD in a science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjectExcellent Structured Query Language (SQL) skills and experience in database tools such as data build tool (dbt)Extensive experience in building dashboards preferably using TableauBroad statistical knowledgeA demonstrated ability for developing innovative experimentation and analysis methods to infer insights from complex sets of dataPractical object-oriented programming experience in Python with knowledge of relevant packages including Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Scikit-learnExperience in writing clean and maintainable code for collaborative working and using code versioning toolsExcellent communicator - comfortable talking with programmers, marketers, surgeons, business leaders, and everyone in-betweenExperienced in using tools for handling big data and working with clinical data sets is a plus.
