Senior Data Engineer

  • Salary: £60,000 - £75,000

Role:Azure Cloud Software Engineer (Cross-functional Team). They are looking for someone who is 80% data Engineering focussed with 20% Software experience in C#, .Net (or willing to learn the software)


Main Duties:

  • Work with stakeholders to gather and deliver requirements
  • Design, build, test, and deploy Azure-based solutions
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Follow agile practices (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
  • Contribute to automated testing and quality assurance
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines using DevOps practices
  • Monitor and support cloud services

Essential Tech Skills:

  • Cloud:Microsoft Azure
  • Data Tools:Databricks, Data Factory, Dataflow, Azure SQL, Synapse
  • Languages:SQL, Python

Nice to Have:

  • MARTech:MS Dynamics 365, SFMC, Informatica MDM, One Trust
  • App Dev:.NET C#, Azure App Services, API Management
