Your new role


Seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize this bank's complex data pipelines and big data infrastructure. You will have deep experience working as a data engineer and architecting scalable data solutions / optimizing data processing systems. This role requires both technical excellence and the ability to influence architectural decisions that align with business objectives.


What you'll need to succeed


  • Deep experience working as a data engineer (within big consultancies or financial services).
  • Vast experience with Databricks.
  • Strong knowledge of distributed computing frameworks e.g., Spark, Hadoop ecosystem.
  • Highly experienced with cloud-based data platforms, especially AWS.
  • Solid programming skills with Python and Spark.
  • Demonstrated ability to engineer and architect solutions for Big Data.
  • Experience in defining target architecture.
  • Financial product knowledge (assets, bonds, swaps) is desirable.
