The Opportunity: This senior role in the Data department is ideal for an experienced Data Engineer to work on their modern Data platform. Currently undergoing an ambitious data transformation to shape the future of Data and revolutionize the property industry. This role is diverse and involves creating data-as-product solutions, including:

Assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business needs Building infrastructure for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources using cloud technologies Extending and maintaining the Data Warehouse platform supporting our reporting solutions Ensuring the Data Platform aligns with the agreed cost model and budget Providing strong thought leadership and leading by example

About You The ideal candidate can inspire, lead, and mentor others, with effective communication skills.

You will Have:

Extensive data engineering experience in both Cloud and On-prem environments Excellent knowledge of data technology, data transformation tools, and data governance techniques Good understanding of Quality and Information Security principles Experience with Azure, ETL Tools such as ADF and Databricks Advanced Database and SQL skills, along with SQL, Python, Pyspark, Spark SQL Strong understanding of data model design and implementation principles Data warehousing design patterns and implementation

Benefits:

£50-£60k DOE Mainly home based working.
