Senior Data Engineer

JSS Search are partnering exclusively with a leading retailer on a Senior Data Engineer position - you will be joining a Data & Reporting team and play a pivotal role in transforming the data landscape.


What you’ll do:

  • Lead the development and optimisation of Azure-based data warehouses, pipelines, and SSAS models.
  • Design and refine ETL processes to ensure high-quality, reliable data flows.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to deliver fit-for-purpose datasets and Power BI reporting.
  • Mentor a junior engineer and contribute to architectural improvements.
  • Bring together data from multiple internal and external sources into a clean, scalable environment.


What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years’ experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and data modelling.
  • Strong skills in Azure Data Factory, T-SQL, and Python.
  • Expertise in building and optimising BI pipelines, data lakes, and warehouses.
  • Experience with Power BI, D365, LogicApps, and other Azure services.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a passion for analytics, architecture, and mentoring.
