Fiskars Group’s Digital and IT team is looking for Senior Data Engineer, Data & Analytics.

In this role you will be responsible for translating business architecture to data architecture using common data management and architecture standards and best practices. In addition, the role includes developing, optimizing and debugging high performance data pipelines, and contributing in strengthening the common information architecture and data asset at Fiskars Group. The role will work closely with key stakeholders such as Subject Matter Experts, Business Key Users, Vendors, Development and Portfolio Management, IT project manager(s), Domain Architect, Solution Managers and other Data Engineers

Key responsibilities:

  • Data modelling, data warehousing, databases and ETL/ELT.
  • Implementing ML Ops as required by solution design
  • Seeing the big picture and breaking complex ideas and needs to logical steps, through a documented, usable blueprint.
  • Managing data architecture by upholding solid guidelines.
  • Sharing knowledge and educating on data architecture, data pipeline development and best practices.
  • Establishing and maintaining internal and external relationships that foster staying current with general industry continuous improvement, tools, training, successes, etc.
  • Solution development within timelines and best practices. Solution transfer to AMS Team and 2nd Level support.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of experience working with ETL Systems, Data Modelling and Analytics Software
  • Proven analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities.
  • Some experience in Machine Learning Operations.
  • Familiarity with different kinds of source systems data source data formats, MLOps,
  • Can-do spirit and strong problem-solving skills with a hands on, customer service attitude
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Fluent English skills
