Provide is currently hiring a Senior Data Engineer on behalf of a well-established Software Engineering business that provides solutions for the Ecommerce industry. This individual will be apart of a team that is building large scale data systems and pipelines.


Key responsibilities

  • Design, build and support large scale data systems, driving data infrastructure forward to enable their products and services.
  • Developing data pipelines, optimize storage, and retrieval processes. Ensuring the reliability and scalability of data architecture.
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams to obtain data requirements, implementing solutions and troubleshooting.
  • Implementing Software Engineering best practises to ensure efficiency, maintenance, and robustness of data systems.


Your profile

  • Experience in designing and building scalable data systems and pipelines, with the use of open source and cloud technologies.
  • Coding experience with Python and SQL.
  • Experience with Data Build Tool
  • Data orchestration tools experience such as Apache Airflow or Dagster.
  • Experience working in a AWS cloud environment.
  • Knowledge of software engineering practises such as testing, CI/CD, agile development, git, and containers.
  • Experience coaching or leading engineers.
