What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing complex datasets, generating actionable insights, and driving data-informed decision-making across the organisation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth, optimise processes, and enhance the overall customer experience. Your expertise in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and visualisation will be key in supporting our strategic goals and ensuring we stay ahead in a competitive market.



  • Data Analysis & Insights: Perform in-depth analysis of large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
  • Data Visualization: Create clear and compelling data visualisations in Looker to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Data Modelling: Model data in .dbt to transform raw data into actionable insights and maintain scalable data pipelines.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, engineering, and operations teams to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.
  • Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the success of various initiatives.
  • Statistical Analysis: Apply advanced statistical techniques to test hypotheses, validate models, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Data Quality: Ensure data integrity and consistency by conducting regular audits and implementing data quality best practices.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Proactivity: Take the initiative to identify new growth opportunities and propose creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Dealing with Ambiguity: Navigate and manage ambiguity effectively, making informed decisions with incomplete information and adapting to changing priorities.

Who You Are

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex problems and derive meaningful insights from data.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Experience with Python for statistical analysis is a plus.
  • Data Visualisation Expertise: Proficient in creating data visualisations that effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all analyses and reports.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Initiative & Ownership: Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and taking ownership of projects from start to finish.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Tools & Platforms: Experience with data analysis and visualisation with Looker, dbt and Snowflake is preferred.

Our Process

  • Initial call with one of our TA partners (30 mins)
  • A skill-based interview where you will with our head of analytics (45 minutes)
  • A technical interview including a live case study (no homework!) with one of our data scientists (60 mins)
  • A culture interview with one of our analytics stakeholders (1 hour)

We’ll let you know if you’re invited to an interview or not. But, as a small team with a lot of applications to consider, we can’t give personal feedback on each application.


Background checks

To meet our regulatory obligations as an FCA-authorised financial services company, we need to do some background checks on all new hires. That means carrying out a DBS check and making sure you don\'t have any live criminal proceedings.
