About the Role

As a Data Analyst, you’ll dive deep into customer behaviour, experimentation, and problem‑solving to uncover the stories hidden in data. Your insights will help shape smarter, faster, and more impactful decisions across our product squads and the wider business.


You’ll be a trusted partner throughout the entire product development journey, from sparking ideas and shaping hypotheses to defining success metrics and evaluating product changes. You’ll bring data to life, challenging assumptions and driving continuous improvement through A/B and multi‑variant testing.


A strong grasp of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) will set you apart. You’ll not only interpret data but also translate it into strategies that enhance user experience, boost engagement, and increase conversions.


What You’ll Be Doing Day To Day

  • Serving as a Subject Matter Expert on site data, specialising in AB/multivariate analysis
  • Writing SQL queries via Google BigQuery to derive deeper insights from our Google Analytics dataset
  • Collaborating closely with researchers to comprehend and interpret qualitative data, piecing together the full picture of the customer holiday researching journey and customer needs
  • Creating and configuring dashboards in Power BI or Looker Studio to effectively report core KPIs and trends for stakeholders
  • Supporting commercial trade investigations and peer reviewing other analyst’s work with a methodical approach
  • Supporting wider team in building out a best in class data environment

Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge & experience with CRO
  • High level proficiency in SQL
  • Strong technical skills in data analysis and statistics
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Looker data studio/Power Bi)
  • Deep understanding of Google Analytics
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets
  • Comfortable storytelling with data

What To Expect From Our Interview Process

We’ll run a multiple stage interview process, one stage of which will be an in‑person interview at our fabulous Aeroworks office in Manchester city centre.

Ways of working

Our full time hours are 37.5 per week, but we don't have rigid working hours so you can find the working pattern that's right for you. We have core working hours between 10am - 4pm, so we can collaborate and enjoy the social side of work.


We also have hybrid working so we all work from home and from our Aeroworks office in Manchester City Centre. As a team we are in the office 2 days per week (usually Tuesday & Wednesday).
