Main Responsibilities

  • Experience of working collaboratively and influencing multiple and diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Mining data, to create critical and actionable insights, which will shape and influence Strategy, Product development, Propositions and Customer Journeys.
  • Designing and implementing business intelligence (BI) solutions to support data-driven decision making, to present complex analysis is essential.
  • Manage Data Analytics projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Build of predictive models and segmentation
  • Develop data products utilising Ai applications.
  • Work with technology team and business stakeholders to support initiatives and solve problems. Collaborating with system developers, product owners, data architects and business architects to develop and implement solutions.
  • Contribute positively to the organisational culture and have a high level of self-initiative.
  • Collaborate with other analytics team in the organisation to ensure consistency and/or known differences.
  • Be passionate about data and continuously strive to influence evidence led decision making.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing, coaching colleagues and team members, playing a key role in driving a culture of continuous development within the analytics team.
  • Operates in line with the Bank's Risk Management framework (including sub-frameworks) and relevant risk and compliance policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate and timely escalation of any concerns to their line manager.

Ideal Candidate

  • Advanced SQL skills required and experience of Using a variety of analytical tools, programming languages and business Intelligence capabilities e.g. Tableau, Power Bi, QlikView, ThoughtSpot, R, Python etc., with the ability to deliver actionable insights.
  • Previous experience of designing and implementing business intelligence (BI) solutions to support data-driven decision making, to present complex analysis is essential, with proven ability for data storytelling.
  • Extensive Practical Experience working with large, complex data sets in order to extract business insights and to reach robust and practical conclusions.
  • Manage Data Analytics projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • The build and delivery of predictive models and segmentation, to identify next best activity.
  • Creative thinking and hypothesis generation, problem solving, being curious and bringing new ideas and ways of working.
  • Experimenting and identifying best methods, techniques, algorithms for business problems.
  • A good working knowledge of the latest NLP and LLM techniques
  • Good organisational skills, setting high standard for self and others and being disciplined in delivering to agreed timescales
