About The Team
The Panel Analytics team sits at the core of our Partnerships function. We’re a team of analytical specialists dedicated to driving continuous improvement in Confused.com’s market competitiveness and product offering. Through in-depth analysis, we uncover the key drivers of performance and deliver actionable insights that create measurable value for both Confused.com and our insurance partners. We work closely with our Commercial and Product teams to provide high-quality analytical support, helping our partners make smarter, data-driven pricing decisions.


About The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to utilise their extensive knowledge and experience, to initiate and deliver a variety of analytical projects to drive positive change for Confused.com and its customers. As a Senior Analyst, you will inform effective data driven decision making, you will also guide and support your fellow Analysts, pushing boundaries and building on your knowledge to achieve positive outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst or an existing Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to take all their experience to the next level in their career.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Creating compelling, actionable and high-value bespoke analysis through data mining, data visualisation techniques & storytelling
  • Investigating all available sources of information to recommend changes to optimise our insurance panel across multiple products
  • Providing analytical support to our insurance partners, including evaluating key aspects of our partner’s performance such as conversion, ancillary take-up, and rate analysis
  • Collaborating with colleagues from across the business to deliver key projects
  • Providing advice and guidance to the team when needed
  • Speaking at industry events

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with data, ideally in the Insurance or wider financial services sector
  • Experience or understanding of insurance pricing methods and portfolio management would be advantageous
  • Experience of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques
  • Experience using data visualisation tools (Tableau or PowerBI)
  • Good knowledge of SQL and Python / R
  • Proven track record working with key stakeholders
  • Strong presentation skills, including the ability to tell stories with data
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
