Senior Data Analyst | Logistics or Supply Chain Focus | Retail | Plymouth | 5 days/week | £40,000 - £50,000 + Benefits |

Zachary Daniels are excited to be partnering with a high growth national retailer. The Senior Data Analyst, will provide crucial insights across the Supply Chain network, driving performance improvements, optimising processes, and supporting data-driven decision-making at all levels. This is an office-based role with some travel to operational sites.

The Role

  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business performance.
  • Create and manage interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI, tailored to different departments.
  • Work closely with operational teams to recommend improvements and solutions based on data analysis.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track and improve business outcomes.
  • Continuously optimize data collection and analysis processes for greater efficiency and data accuracy.

About You

  • Strong track record in data analysis, ideally within retail, operations, or financial services
  • Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and Power BI
  • Python knowledge for simulation and modelling purposes
  • Experience working with data warehouses, IT platforms, and enterprise reporting tools
  • Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail, with a proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ability to translate complex datasets into commercial insight and action
  • Comfortable managing high volumes of data and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Desirable (Not Essential)
  • Experience in a retail or omnichannel environment
  • Exposure to WMS/ERP systems
  • Previous roles in performance management or commercial analytics within a matrix structure
