Senior Data Analyst | Logistics or Supply Chain Focus | Retail | Plymouth | 5 days/week |
Zachary Daniels are excited to be partnering with a high growth national retailer. The Senior Data Analyst, will provide crucial insights across the Supply Chain network, driving performance improvements, optimising processes, and supporting data-driven decision-making at all levels. This is an office-based role with some travel to operational sites.
The Role
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that drive business performance.
- Create and manage interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI, tailored to different departments.
- Work closely with operational teams to recommend improvements and solutions based on data analysis.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track and improve business outcomes.
- Continuously optimize data collection and analysis processes for greater efficiency and data accuracy.
About You
- Strong track record in data analysis, ideally within retail, operations, or financial services
- Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, and Power BI
- Python knowledge for simulation and modelling purposes
- Experience working with data warehouses, IT platforms, and enterprise reporting tools
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail, with a proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
- Ability to translate complex datasets into commercial insight and action
- Comfortable managing high volumes of data and influencing senior stakeholders
- Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience in a retail or omnichannel environment
- Exposure to WMS/ERP systems
- Previous roles in performance management or commercial analytics within a matrix structure
