About the role

The Senior Data Analyst at ZAVA will be responsible for understanding, and helping others understand, how to optimize our products and services for patients across multiple locations. With years of data from operating in several countries, you will leverage this data to guide future decisions. You will create tools and dashboards to break down key drivers of product performance in clear, actionable ways. You will help define KPIs and end-to-end patient flows, driving performance by surfacing insights, supporting tactical decisions, and informing product strategy with evidence-based narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Accountabilities
  • Leading a collaborative process to define meaningful, relevant, and easily understood KPIs around product performance.
  • Creating end-to-end analyses and dashboards that visualise key metrics across product improvements, clinical, operations, marketing, and other functions, transforming data into actionable insights.
  • Identifying trends in data that help the business grow by focusing on good patient outcomes.
  • Collaborating with team members to understand user behaviour through experimentation and testing.
  • Providing support on A/B and multivariate testing and other best-practice analytical techniques during feature development.
  • Identifying tracking requirements to enable accurate reporting; working with developers to implement them.
  • Helping to develop and maintain our business intelligence tools (DBT and Lightdash) by adding new metrics aligned with emerging business interests and product development.
  • Acting as a passionate ZAVA data advocate, inspiring others to embrace data through storytelling and evidence-based insights.
We would love you to have the followingTechnical skills & experience
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouses (preferably AWS) and data transformation tools like ETLeap and DBT.
  • Proficient use of BI tools such as Lightdash or equivalent.
  • Confidence in managing senior stakeholders across the business.
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify anomalies in data and spot trends.
  • Proven experience with web tracking tools (Segment/Google Analytics).
Nice to have
  • Experience in healthcare or a tech company.
  • Experience with A/B testing tools and practical examples.
  • Mentoring analysts (formal or informal).
  • Team-oriented with the ability to adhere to regulations and policies and to follow tasks through to completion.
  • Desire to help patients; empathetic and collaborative.
  • Strong initiative and resilience; willingness to embrace change and innovate.
  • Humility, inquisitiveness, and collaborative mindset; ability to listen, learn, and contribute positively.
