The Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role in this, delivering analytical insights and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organisation. Working closely with the Manager - Data Analytics, you will design, develop, and implement advanced analytics and business intelligence solutions, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security. This role involves both hands‑on analytics work and collaboration with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, contributing to the advancement of Ogier’s data analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to generate actionable business insights and recommendations
  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to support business objectives
  • Collaborate closely with business units and internal stakeholders to identify and understand data requirements
  • Apply statistical techniques and data modelling to solve complex business challenges
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data governance and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance
  • Support the Manager – Data Analytics in delivering analytics projects, maintaining alignment with organisational goals
  • Mentor and support analysts in departmental functions in analytic approaches, problem-solving, and use of statistical reporting tools i.e. PowerBI
  • Ensure all deliverables adhere to Group policies, including IT Change Enablement and ITIL processes
  • Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and business intelligence
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data analytics capabilities and reporting efficiency
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Deep expertise in hands‑on data analysis, data visualisation/ reporting, and business intelligence tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Strong command of data storytelling and modelling techniques, with the ability to effectively communicate complexity to all audiences.
  • Knowledge of, and commitment to, best practices in data management, integrity, and governance.
  • Strong organisational and project management capabilities, balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Innovative thinking and a continuous improvement mindset, which focuses on high‑quality servicing of customers' data needs
  • Bachelor’s degree (Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related), or a relevant data analytics/BI certification, desirable
  • Knowledge of Python or other programming languages for analytics also desirable
