Position Overview:

This position provides an unrivalled career opportunity for a talented and driven professional to progress their career while working with specialist colleagues in an entrepreneurial environment.

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Commercial and the broader team. You will be responsible for securing new clients within our key CHRO target markets (initially CHROs in the UK and Ireland employing >2,000 employees), understanding their needs, nurturing relationships, demonstrating our Senovis offering, and securing new Senovis clients. You will play a crucial role in developing relationships, driving revenue growth, identifying opportunities, and contributing to the overall success of our commercial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prospect CHROs within our ideal client profile, through outreach and organizing initial discovery meetings.
  2. Conduct thorough needs assessments with CHRO clients to understand their pains, gains, and goals. Propose tailored solutions within the Senovis offering to address their needs effectively.
  3. Lead the sales cycle end to end, from cold calling to closing the opportunity.
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact through the sales cycle. Build and nurture strong relationships to understand their HR/business objectives and ensure the Senovis value proposition is understood.
  5. Collaborate with the Head of Commercial to develop account strategies that drive revenue growth and foster future client retention within the target CHRO markets.
  6. Prepare proposals and contribute to sales pitches.
  7. Attend in-person meetings and sales and marketing events to identify and nurture new business opportunities.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  1. Develop go-to-market strategy plans on how to meet KPIs through new logo acquisition.
  2. Manage pipeline and present updates at the weekly sales meeting.
  3. Monitor key performance metrics of accounts, analyze data, and provide insights to improve account health and drive client success.

Market Insights:

  1. Keep up to date with HR/industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to enable effective sales interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, HR, or related field or Sales qualification.

Professional Experience & Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in B2B sales, ideally with C-suite level clients.
  • Demonstrable business development skills such as converting cold contacts into clients.
  • Proven ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders specifically at executive and C-suite level.
  • Competent in the use of CRM and related systems to maximize effectiveness and results.
