Senior Bioinformatics Software Developer
London (Hybrid)

An exciting position has opened with an innovative Biotech startup using machine learning for cancer drug discovery.

They are at the forefront of biotechnology, harnessing machine learning to advance cancer research and drug discover, a standout scale up company working at the mid point of computation, synthetic biology and cell therapy. 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain bioinformatics pipelines for NGS data analysis with fully hands on software development. Collaborate with data scientists and wet lab scientists to integrate bioinformatics solutions. Optimize bioinformatics workflows on GCP for large-scale data. Manage and query databases using SQL.

Essential Experience and Skills:

Python SQL Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In-depth knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) Understanding of machine learning concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

BSc or MSc in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or related field. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes. Background in cancer research or drug discovery would be ideal
