About the job you're considering

We work with our clients to fully exploit their data using the power of AI & Analytics to deliver real business value at scale across the organisation. We have a track record of success across a wide range of public and private sector clients with whom we have built long-standing relationships of trust and collaboration.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

If you are offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, 3 continuous years employment history, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).

Your role

We are looking for technical knowledge in areas such as machine learning, GenAI, computer vision and so on, combined with great solution architecture and software engineering skills, that will allow us to design and build solutions which can be deployed at scale! We are looking for individuals who can help our clients to identify & define the problems they need solving and explain in a business value focused way how the solutions we deploy would help them achieve their goals.

Your skills and experience

  1. You are driven by impact and eager to lead the end-to-end journey from identifying AI-driven business challenges to deploying solutions that deliver measurable results in production.
  2. You have hands-on experience in data science and/or AI and know when to apply. Experience on Geospatial, GenAI and/or Agentic AI will be highly valued.
  3. You are comfortable coding in Python and SQL, and keen to explore other languages if needed.
  4. You have experience in deploying ML and AI solutions in production on cloud and working with cross-functional teams to achieve that. Experience on AzureML or SageMaker will be highly valued.
  5. You have strong communication skills and proven experience in presenting work to clients and managing stakeholders.

What does 'Get The Future You Want' mean for you?

You will be encouraged to have a positive work-life balance. Our hybrid-first way of working means we embed hybrid working in all that we do and make flexible working arrangements the day-to-day reality for our people. All UK employees are eligible to request flexible working arrangements.

You will be empowered to explore, innovate, and progress. You will benefit from Capgemini's 'learning for life' mindset, meaning you will have countless training and development opportunities from thinktanks to hackathons, and access to 250,000 courses with numerous external certifications from AWS, Microsoft, Harvard ManageMentor, Cybersecurity qualifications and much more.

Neurodiversity in Machine Learning Careers: Turning Different Thinking into a Superpower

Machine learning is about more than just models & metrics. It’s about spotting patterns others miss, asking better questions, challenging assumptions & building systems that work reliably in the real world. That makes it a natural home for many neurodivergent people. If you live with ADHD, autism or dyslexia, you may have been told your brain is “too distracted”, “too literal” or “too disorganised” for a technical career. In reality, many of the traits that can make school or traditional offices hard are exactly the traits that make for excellent ML engineers, applied scientists & MLOps specialists. This guide is written for neurodivergent ML job seekers in the UK. We’ll explore: What neurodiversity means in a machine learning context How ADHD, autism & dyslexia strengths map to ML roles Practical workplace adjustments you can ask for under UK law How to talk about neurodivergence in applications & interviews By the end, you’ll have a clearer sense of where you might thrive in ML – & how to turn “different thinking” into a genuine career advantage.
