Security Architect – Boutique Consultancy

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Security Architect to join a dynamic team. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of security architecture and associated technologies, coupled with strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.

Client facing experience and exposure to public sector is highly desirable.

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced professional to define and delivercomprehensive security architecturefor various projects and programs. This role requires creatingconceptual, logical, and implementation-level architecture designsthat align with the business’s needs, while ensuring robust security measures across the organization.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and defineend-to-end security architectures, ensuring they support both business and security objectives.
• Create detailedconceptual, logical, and technical architecture frameworksto guide projects in meeting their security goals.
• Implement advanced security solutions, includingidentity management, network protection, cloud security, and security monitoring, to mitigate complex threats and prevent security breaches.
• Conduct reviews of existing security frameworks andrecommend enhancementsbased on current vulnerabilities and evolving risks.
• Translatecomplex business and technical challengesinto tailored security solutions, ensuring that the architecture meets both functional and security needs.
• Work on initiatives with astrategic, long-term impact, creating security strategies that can be applied across the organization for maximum efficiency and protection.
• Design secure architectures by applying securitypatterns and principlesto mitigate business and security risks effectively.
• Innovate and apply modernsecurity solutions, ensuring that each design decision is well-documented and justified for stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience in security architecture, ideally withinlarge-scale, complex environments.
• Expertise in developing and implementingidentity and access management (IDAM), network protection, and cloud securitysolutions.
• Ability to interpret and resolvecomplex technical challengeswhile balancing security and business needs.
• Proven track record of designingscalable, secure architecturesthat deliver long-term value to the organisation.

Qualifications: (Not a necessity)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer) and data management (e.g., CDMP) are highly

desirable.
