Job Description

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: May 31, 2026
Work set up: Mostly remote (work from home), with occasional visits to the client office in Walton-on-Thames
Clearance required: BPSS

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a SAP IBP Machine Learning Consultant to support demand planning initiatives with a strong statistical and machine learning focus. This role involves leveraging SAP IBP capabilities, including machine learning algorithms, to enhance forecasting accuracy, integrate external forecasting methods, and support promotions planning within demand forecasting processes.

What you will do:

  • Apply SAP IBP Demand planning expertise with a strong statistical approach to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Utilise SAP IBP machine learning algorithms to enhance demand forecasting processes.
  • Integrate external forecasting methods with SAP IBP to support advanced planning capabilities.
  • Incorporate promotions planning data into demand forecasts to improve forecasting precision.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align forecasting models with business requirements.
  • Analyse forecasting performance and recommend improvements based on data insights.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience with SAP IBP Demand planning.
  • Strong statistical and analytical background.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP IBP machine learning algorithms.
  • Experience integrating external forecasting methods with SAP IBP.
  • Exposure to promotions planning and integration of promotions data into demand forecasting.
  • Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
  • BPSS clearance eligibility and right to work in the UK.
